Chris McLullich hablo con Gillian, la encargada de NIDOS (la red de organizaciones escoceses trabajando en desarollo social internacional y ayuda humanitaria) para poder contactar alguna ONG y usarla como medio para canalizar la ayuda.
Gillian responde:
NIDOS organisations that definitely already have appeals that you could channel the funds through are: Oxfam, British Red Cross, Save the Children, Mercy Corp.
On the other hand, Christian Aid is channelling their through a partner agency (Church World Service) but can take funds and pass on. Tearfund is sending some financial support to Partner organisations they used to work with in Chile (they stopped working there in 2007) and looking for funds for their disasters fund. Christian Blind Mission has partners in Conception that they are working with but nothing clear yet on whether they are running an appeal.

Yo tambien llame a Oxfam hoy para preguntarles si tenian una cuenta especial para la crisis de Chile. Me informaron que ellos tienen un 'disaster fund' y que de ahi sacan lo que se precisa para lo que estan haciendo en Chile, pero que si abonamos al disaster fund, se usa en donde se necesita, pero los fondos no se destinarian necesariamente a Chile. Bueno, seguro que ya se presentara algo.
